jairus is 2 mths old.....

Baby Jairus has grown so much.He  looks less grouchy these days and is now able to look at you and converse with you. He is usually in a good mood when he wake up in the morning and on days if you are lucky you can hear  him chuckle and smiling away.His smile is so mesmerizing and it makes all the hard work worthwhile.All of us are just smitten by him and  even when he cry,both papa and i still find him so adorable.The arrival of Jairus has brought so much joy to both families.

Papa has been great,he makes an effort to clean jairus and feed him every night despite being so tired.On weekend he will also bathe the little one.munn is indeed a wonderful and loving father,On good days,jairus will zzz thoughout the night otherwise he will wake up once or twice for milk.Thank god he has been quite a good baby and doesnt give us problem at night and it is really nice to have him zzz with us.

Seeing him having the vaccination breaks my heart,just before the jab he was feeling so happy and when the needle went him he wailed so loudly and it took us quite some time to calm him down.He had a fever the next two days and was zzz so much than usual. I guess he was feeling really uncomfortable.May almighty God bless him with good health and protect him from all evil spirits.

Happy 2nd Anniversary baby...

Happy 2nd anniversary baby,we are 2 yrs old... This journey has been wonderful and i really look forward to grow old with munn... As much as i would love to get away to celebrate my wedding anniversary with hubby i had many thoughts and constraints.Hubby has been planning for a spa retreat in Batam however i was not very keen, as firstly i am still breastfeeding which means I have problems pumping and storing the breastmilk,that is one big headache.Secondly, i cant bear to leave jairus with my in laws..dunno if is separation anxiety.Guess im very much attach to this little man.Hence we did not go away for those few days.On the day itself,daddy gave me a card in the car and  i was really touched to read what he wrote.those words really touched my heart and yes i did cry!but those were tears of joy i thank god for blessing me with this wonderful man..i felt so bad that this time round i did not prepare any card or pressie for him.Guess all my attention was on the little one instead..

First, we went vivo to catch sex and the cities then we proceeded to holland village for a three hours spa.Going for spa is our favourite!Afterwhich we went to fosters in holland village for dinner.The place was quiet and the ambience was nice...the food and company was great too.

I ordered these gorgeous cupcakes from an online baker-cotton candy bakeshop.Arent they beautiful?I got the cuppies for CG to thank them for the gift and as well as for JAirus Full Month...i feel so sinful after eating it ,bet my sugar level shot rocket high ..haha.oh yes i love her cupcakes shall order from yenni again if there are other occassions.

Baby Jairus is One Month Old!

Our little sumo has turned one month old..hurray!Baby Jairus is so blessed not only he has received many gifts from all the aunties and uncles, everyday there are so people visting him He has grown so much in these four weeks and i can spend my time just by simpy looking and adoring him.

I kinda enjoyed my confinement as i i get to spend time with my mum and as mum is a great chef i love all the dishes she whipped up daily.Really appreciate my mum and I can see how much love and care she showers on hubby jairus and I.I thank God for mothers.

Anyway Baby Jairus had two days of party.The first party was held at panpac orchard claymore cafe and the second party was at my place.Though i was really busy these two days im glad that all the relatives and friends were here to share our joy.i even got to celebrate my first mothers day on the second day.I hope everyone had a great time during these two days.

                                                         

My Little SUmo --Baby Jairus 09/04/2010

BAby Jairus is finally here on 09/04/2010...he is 53 cm and weighs 4040kg.My goodness he is actually the biggest baby in the nursery.He is so chubby and he resembles just like a little sumo.One nurse asked me if Im had KFC very often during my pregnancy....each time the nurses see him or me they will comment how big jairus is...

 Thank god the C section was finally over the surgery itself was pretty fast however to me the adminstration of epidural was pretty scary.it hurts and i wonder y some ppl say it dont.Im thankful that i did not suffer any side effects from the epidural as i knw some ppl tend to shiver uncontrollably and also
tend to throw up.I was just feeling really stoned after the epidural as i guess i did not zzz the night before.

Praise God for his beautiful creation...Jairus is such a darling.

Bye bye Bump!

Time really flies it seems like it was only yesterday when i found out i was pregnant however 9 months have passed and I am thankful to Father GoD for seeing me through this smooth sailing pregnancy..i did not experience morning sickness or any pre nattal blues.However i must admit i kept falling ill during this period and insomia was a real headache.Going to work without much rest is really tiring..Anyway im going to miss having Jairus in my stomach.

JAirus has been a good boy so far..he doesnt move around or kick too much which i conclude he is as nua as his parents..In fact im quite comfortable with him staying inside my stomach.he has become a part of me.

Jairus has been too comfortable inside hence i will be going for a c section tomorrow morning at 11am.Although i would love to go through a natural birth, JAirus has a big head and he is a big size baby too hence munn n i decided to go for c section instead.Wanted to go under GA  initially as the thought of being slaughtered while conscious really send cold shivers down my spine.However as i do not want munn to miss our first borne first moments i opted for epidural instead.I trust that God will be in control tomorrow.

Guess i wont be zzz tonight!Bye bye Bump...and advance welsome to JAirus!

Dear Father God,
We pray and commit Jolene and the baby child to you for tomorrow's operation. We pray that you take control of the operation. We pray for the doctor that you guide his hand in the operation and that everything will be go on smooth and well. We pray for all the other people who assist in the operation that they will do a good and professional job. We pray for smooth delivery and that will be no complication. Pray both mother and child will be ok and be in good spirit. Give them good rest and after the birth.

We pray for your anointing upon the baby child as he starts his lives on earth. That he will grow up to be like King David, man after your heart, pleasing you and be a blessing to you. Grow up to be a righteous man in Christ Jesus. Also we pray that you bless him with your wisdom which is to fear you.
Thank you Father for listening to our prayers and we pray these in Jesus precious name. Amen

Well DOne Daddy!

I have not been feeling very good recently..down with asthma hence have not been resting well..Hubby has been real busy taking care of me as well as to see to the setting up and preparation of Jairus's room.Finally the messy "store room" has been cleared and set up and we are all ready to welcome baby Jairus! Hubby was so particular and meticulous when it cums to the sticker decal part  and  i was so surprised as he usually belongs to the bo chap type.

CNY Makan @ PUtien

.Today we had our CNY gathering at City Square Putien.This is the first time all of us tried the place and i would say the price is really reasonable and the service was good.Thumbs up i would definitely recommend this place to friends.I had a good time eating and i really like the fact that im pregnant hence i have very valid reasons not to go on diet and enjoy all the food i want al these months.Thanks to you baby Jairu,.haha.Jairus will be out in a month time or so and afterwhich i will have to work really hard to lose those pounds sigh.

Anyway ,we had a good time catching up with one another but the only pity was JJ and Wee were not able to join us today as they are out of town and Poor P was still slogging at her work place on a saturday afternoon.Seems like one table cant fit all of us anymore.When the two baby tiger cubs are out this year we will soon need another table.I guess by next year each gathering we attend will have abt 20 pax?this figure is scary......

Thank God For Friends..Thank God For all the littlle babies who have brought so much joy to all of us..

Last Trimester....33 weeks..

TIme really flies..Im now 33 weeks pregnant in another few more WEEks will be the grand arrival of baby jairus .Guess Both Munn and I are feeling exhilarated and nervous at the same time.we really dunno whats gonna happen to our life after that.Went to Dr Ho today Jairus is about 2 kg now and everything seems to be good.The only thing is my sugar level is high again.I bet the culprit is all the CNY goodies and  food...need to watch my diet again before im down with gestational diabetes sigh.

Jairus has turned n his head is already facing down seems like he is getting ready  ..i really dunno whats gonna happen during delivery and i chose not to think of it.Been hearing lotsa labour stories from friends some are really scary and some are really positive.i wonder what will be my version of story hopefully is gonna be a pleasant experience for me. I really wonder how my did mum manage to give birth to the four of us without EPIDURAL???J

Anyway my stomach feels really heavy these days i wonder how much more can it strectch?climbing up the stairs in school make me breathless and frm jan till now i nearly black out on a few occasions in school.Sleeping has also become a chore as i have trouble falling asleep and each night i have to wake up a dozen times to pee sigh...however  i thank GOD for his blessings on me so far at least im still able to function at work.Just hope the rest of the journey will also be a smooth sailing one.

Xmas is a time of sharing and giving and each year i love forward to spending these moments with my loved ones and friends.i love to set up the xmas tree and pile up pressies under it haha.im waiting for the day my dear husband place a nicely wrapped pressie under the xmas tree to surprise me and i wonder when will the day come?5 years or 10 yrs time? here are some pictures...

KRabi 2009....

Thank God for school holiday as this is the time for teachers to rest and regain our sanity before another hectic year begin.This year hubby and I decided to go to krabi for a getaway, as much as i would like to go for a longer and further holiday i knw we can only only go for a short break as there is no bonus this year and also we needa save money as we are preparing for the arrival of Baby Jairus.

Well thank god that my ankle has more or less recovered frm the bad sprain if not guess i wont be able to go for the trip.However these days my finger joints and soles hurt alot alot....guess im suffering frm really bad water retention.i can hardly bend my fingers and i have to soak my hands and feet in hot water to relieve the pain and discomfort.

The only thing i hate about travelling is i cant stand the suffering my poor ears go through each time on the air plane..On the way to thailand in the plane my ear hurts so much so that i cried for 15-20 mins.I have never felt so bad before and the pain from my ears actually went to my head and it seems lmy blood vessel is gonna burst anytime.hubby got a shock when he saw me crying though he tried to comfort me i still felt very shitty.

anyway hubby and i went kayaking in krabi sea and i will say i really feel amazing im already 5-6 mths yet i can kayak for few hours with that stomach of mine.In the afternoon we went elephant trekking and it was quite a scary yet fun experience.we felt that we can fell off frm the seat each time the elephant makes its way down the steep path in the forest.there were no security measures and when i sat on the elephant i wonder y did i spend money to scare myself,

The following day hubby actually wanted to go snorkelling with me.However this time round i rejected his requeat.FIrstly i cant swim and  secondly im pregnant hence i dunno if is appropriate or safe for me to carry out such heroic act afterall i need to be responsible for Jairus safety i should not put him to any risk.Of cuz hubby is always nice n he doesnt force me.So we decided to do something more relaxing,we signed up for a thai cooking class haha.It was really fun but there were so much food that we cant finish what a pity.Here are some photos to share with all of you.

Today is Ed & Joan Big Day! Im so glad that the two of them are able to tie the knot..Ed is so blessed to have Joan as his wife.This beautiful gal fren of mine is a gem...i really love her for who she is.
Though hubby and i overslept this morning,we were glad that we were able to reach the church in time.My goodness we are the receptionist and the ang bao box is also with us cant imagine if we were late...Thank God.Seems like it was only yesterday when we had ED & Joan to be our wedding emcees, so tis time round is pay back time hubby and i had to be their wedding emcess.wishing them a lifetime of happiness!

Hi beanie..today is the first time daddy and mummy saw you...you are finally 6.9cm.the last time i saw you you were only 1 cm hence mummy couldnt remember anything abt you except for that racing hearbeat.Doctor ho says you are doing well and should be abt 12 weeks old..daddy and mummy can see your little fingers,your big head ,eyes,ears and nose.You looked kinda cute floating in there.Daddy says you are very active can be a gymnast in future.

You have been a darling for the past three months,mummy doesnt hv any morning sickness except that i hv been falling sick quite often.The nose has been giving me some problems n i cant seemed to zzz at night..Please be a good baby and i pray that God will bless you with good health and that mummy will be able to work and function like normal. Love you little one.

THis Is It!!!

AFter 5 years of part- time studies and work I have finally finished my SIM journey...Praise be to God...It has been really stressful for the last few months as i was struggling with my final year disertation work and driving classes.I am so thankful I had Mdm Jin to help me along the way otherwise It would have been so much more terrible.im intimidated by my supervisor as she has very high expectations and the worst part is im quite slack and i do not take initiatives to approach her....have been "buttered" by her a few times...n i always end up complaining to hubby...Just hope the emplacement will come quickly and i hope all the time and effort are worth.

A Big Thank you to hubby for being there for me all these years,especially the days he spent hours waiting for me outside the lecture hall and fetching me to and fro school.The day i had the dialogue session with the panel he was again with me encouraging me...N i feel so blessed that im the only student whose husband is seating out there waiting for me..Thanks Munn. Love you.

ANyway, THis IS IT...No more studies for me..the thought of it makes me throw up!

NAsi LEmak Here WE Come!!

T0day is my 27th Birthday N im feeling abit stoned....for the past few days my nose has been giving me problem seems like pregnancy increase nasal congestion...We had A Nasi LEmak PArty for the KakiS! There was full attendance(except for ah wee who needs to work) and everyone turned up (of cuz nvr on time haha) . AFraid that there wont be enough food i got hwa to get some hotdogs and i also cooked fried eggs in addition.My goodness Li has such a HUge Appetitie or shd i say Fetish for EGGS....Her eyes sparkle when she saw the eggs...i bet little CLara who is in mummy womb will get high on egg too! IAn was sweet to bring homemade cookies which he baked that morning it tasted real goood..yummy .How many man can bake cookies in the first place..?

The babies are so cute they turned up in MICKEY MOUSE outfit and they brought so much joy to the aunties who nvr grow tired playing with them...Poor aden had a fall from the bed n he cried so loudly.. *sayang* I could feel the pain as im aware my bed is very high n he must have had a bad fright falling in the dark dark room...

As usual the women had a great time catching up or even gossiping...lulu was nice to make an effort to order the birthday cake frm RIVE..Knowing that i like the strawberry shortcake, on top of the chocolate cake she ordered a slice of strawberry shortcake just for me so that i can savour...

We had a great time celebrating ying and my birthday but it was a pity that ying had to leave much earlier.....Thank God for FRIENDS!!!!

It has been long long time since the OL gang get together at atrina...well we had my 27th birthday party today.It was the first time we had shabu shabu sukiyaki at my place...A big thanks to dear JAs for doing the grocery shopping with me the day before as i was pretty clueless what to get!We had a great party that nite>Joan was so sweeet to get 3 tubs of Ben n Jerrys ice cream Yummy..XX bought lotsa snacks and she bought a cute scrapook for me so i can note baby journey..that was so sweeet of her!as usual AH Seok is forever late n therefore was ridiculed by the whole gang that night maybe i was the most mean to her.We had lotsa of food that we couldnt finish n im surprised ED ate so little maybe he is on diet for his wedding haha.This gang always get HIGH on Wii games...they are forever energetic and can laugh non- stop...JAS N XX are the renowned ENERGISER BUNNIES...Shang was so nice to stay till real late to help Munn with his laptop.We really appreciate it.May Abba father bless this group of cute boys and girls.

Im thankful to have friends like that i hope when little sze toh is out i will still be able to have parties like this!

Do you WAnna Hear the Good News Or BAd News First??

I have a piece or good news and bad news to share with all my loved ones...Alright let me get straight to the point..the BAD BAD news is i FAILED my driving test...SOb SOb...is sucha waste of money and time..Most importantly it was my 2009 resolution i hate to experience failure sucks.though i wasnt very confident i will pass at the first attempt everything went so smoothly at the warm up session n the practise sessions the day before. ALso the tester was extremly nice how could i be so dumbo to hit two poles at the parallel parking! WTF...n now i dunno when will i be retaking my test and when will i be able to fufil my new year resoultion??

Well,My adomen has been feeling funny these days..it feels crampy at the side something like stomach cramp...n my menses is missing too.I decided to get a test kit but i wasnt placing too much hope as my menses had been super irregular and i have been damn stressed for the past month plus no way i will conceive! after the urine test,i could not really tell if is a positive sign as the marking is quite faint.but after a visit to the gynae my scan results shows that Im PREGNANT!!!! wow it sounded too good to be true...if everthing goes well My EDD will be nest APRIL! which means i wun be around for our 50th anniversary and also i will not be around when EV team cums in.what a perfect timing !! praise god for the little beanie!!!

Anyway i still dun quite believe im expecting as it hasnt kinda sink in also i dun really feel anything different! btw i actually used three test kits n a visit to the gynae to confirm the pregnacy haha!!!
