Jairus is Four months old...Open Ur Mouth Pls...

Baby Jairus is now 4 mths old and he just had his second jab recently,thank god this time round they applied some numb cream on his thigh and therefore it was not as painful compared to the first round.Jairus had been drooling alot and he simply loves to chew and suck on his fingers or anything that he can get hold of...PD said Jairus is doing well and he might be teething soon..After the visit to the PD,daddy and i finally brought him to punggol plaza for a SHAVE...i love jairus hair however he has been shedding alot recently and if we do not chop off his hair guess is gonna be patchy real soon.My heart ache as the lady shaves his head...but silly jairus was still smiling away on daddy's legs. ANyway he is now a cute little botak and i cant wait for his hair to grow.

LAst night,daddy and i bought him some fruit puree and we attempted to feed him.My goodness introducing food to a baby is indeed very challenging,guess u gonna be real patient.It was so messy,the food was everywhere as he spits out the food each time we try to feed him.He had this funny expression on his face which was really cute guess the puree was sourish as it was pear and apricot flavour.Throughout the whole feeding session we went "Jairus open ur mouth,open...."for countless times and yes we realised we might have to get a high chair real soon.

My darling boy is growing at an amazing rate...thank god for this beautiful gift and creation...

Jairus FIRst DIp!

We finally bought an inflatable pool for baby Jairus as we decided not to sign up any package with Baby spa.The pool is rather huge and thank God we managed to fit it into out master room toilet.Daddy is a good swimmer whereas mummy is not and i really hope Jairus will love the water as well.I really wonder why is it after 4 years mummy still has not pick up swimming from hubby.Perhaps my resolution for 2011 is to master swimming!baby Jairus looks so adorable in those swimming trunks!check out my two babies in the pool,

Oh well is Ying hens night and she decided to celebrate it in the kitchen!it hs been a long long since we had a all girls date,no husbands,no kids.just the seven of us.Well initially we wanted to  meet at NYDC for a coffee seesion before proceeding to cooking,never did i expect that the girls will end up ordering so much food.In order to save my stomach for the meal later in the night i only had a cup of tea.Within that hr or so we had so much fun chatting,gossiping and catching up with one another.We laughed so much that stomachs were hurting and tears were rolling dwn.i was missing baby jairus n hubby though.
Anyway we spent the next few hrs in Mervyn kitchen and we whipped up the following dishes:
a. marinated hokkaido scallop sashimi with avruga caviar and truffle oil
b. roasted chicken leg with honeyed feta cheese
c. pasta with tiger prawns tossed in laksa cashew nut pesto
d. dark chocolate mousse with assorted berries
It was an awesome and memorable night!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Munn turns 33 this year and as he needed to attend a course on that day we could only do dinner that eveing,However we had celebrated his birthday with my parents on sunday and also with his parents on monday.

This year i made a reservation at EN dining (Japanese restaurant ) as i know munn loves japanese cusine however i kept it as a secret and all these while i told him we are going for banger and mash hee hee.YEs this is munn's first birthday with the little bub.We opted for the buffet and the food was great.However i think i made a mistake by requesting for a private room.My goodness the room was really warm though they have a small fan there.SO while we were eating the beef shabu shabu we were actually perspiring and it was really uncomfortable.Jairus fell asleep soon we reach the place,however as the plcae was warm and noisy he woke up soon.And when jairus do not get enough sleep thats it,he was crying n crying cuz i think the place was too warm and he was very irritable.The place was warm,the baby was tired and cranky and the place was noisy...towards the end munn and i could hardly eat in peace.also as age is catching up with us we cant eat that much.However it was a great evening with hubby and baby...

Baby Jairus is 3 Months old...

Time flies baby Jairus is now three months old...he now looks very different from his newborn pictures and i can hardly recall how he look like then.Jairus has now lost his baby fats and is no longer chubby. He doesnt drink alot but is definitely zzz more these days.He is now shedding hair and yes is pretty serious u can find lotsa hair on his pillow or bed.. guess very soon we will have to shave him.Baby jairus can hold his neck up now and is getting stronger each day. Though he tries to flip and turn he can only do a half turn hence he is always rotating on the bed.Each night he can rotate 180 degree and is leaving me very little space to zzz.
He used to have one single eye lid and one double eyelid but recently his single eyelid has changed to a double eyelid..hurray his eyes are finally mei mei liao.He is now very fun to play with and has alot more expressions than before..im definitely enjoying every moment with him at home...how i wish i dont ave to go back to work...

jairus is 2 mths old.....

Baby Jairus has grown so much.He  looks less grouchy these days and is now able to look at you and converse with you. He is usually in a good mood when he wake up in the morning and on days if you are lucky you can hear  him chuckle and smiling away.His smile is so mesmerizing and it makes all the hard work worthwhile.All of us are just smitten by him and  even when he cry,both papa and i still find him so adorable.The arrival of Jairus has brought so much joy to both families.

Papa has been great,he makes an effort to clean jairus and feed him every night despite being so tired.On weekend he will also bathe the little one.munn is indeed a wonderful and loving father,On good days,jairus will zzz thoughout the night otherwise he will wake up once or twice for milk.Thank god he has been quite a good baby and doesnt give us problem at night and it is really nice to have him zzz with us.

Seeing him having the vaccination breaks my heart,just before the jab he was feeling so happy and when the needle went him he wailed so loudly and it took us quite some time to calm him down.He had a fever the next two days and was zzz so much than usual. I guess he was feeling really uncomfortable.May almighty God bless him with good health and protect him from all evil spirits.

Happy 2nd Anniversary baby...

Happy 2nd anniversary baby,we are 2 yrs old... This journey has been wonderful and i really look forward to grow old with munn... As much as i would love to get away to celebrate my wedding anniversary with hubby i had many thoughts and constraints.Hubby has been planning for a spa retreat in Batam however i was not very keen, as firstly i am still breastfeeding which means I have problems pumping and storing the breastmilk,that is one big headache.Secondly, i cant bear to leave jairus with my in laws..dunno if is separation anxiety.Guess im very much attach to this little man.Hence we did not go away for those few days.On the day itself,daddy gave me a card in the car and  i was really touched to read what he wrote.those words really touched my heart and yes i did cry!but those were tears of joy i thank god for blessing me with this wonderful man..i felt so bad that this time round i did not prepare any card or pressie for him.Guess all my attention was on the little one instead..

First, we went vivo to catch sex and the cities then we proceeded to holland village for a three hours spa.Going for spa is our favourite!Afterwhich we went to fosters in holland village for dinner.The place was quiet and the ambience was nice...the food and company was great too.

Hi Im Joey the maltese, here is a pic of me and the new toy of the household- Jairus.i dont really like this baby besides me as he now has all the attention from everyone but still i know im very much loved .anyway  who do you think is cuter?is it me or the grouchy baby?

I ordered these gorgeous cupcakes from an online baker-cotton candy bakeshop.Arent they beautiful?I got the cuppies for CG to thank them for the gift and as well as for JAirus Full Month...i feel so sinful after eating it ,bet my sugar level shot rocket high ..haha.oh yes i love her cupcakes shall order from yenni again if there are other occassions.

Baby Jairus is One Month Old!

Our little sumo has turned one month old..hurray!Baby Jairus is so blessed not only he has received many gifts from all the aunties and uncles, everyday there are so people visting him He has grown so much in these four weeks and i can spend my time just by simpy looking and adoring him.

I kinda enjoyed my confinement as i i get to spend time with my mum and as mum is a great chef i love all the dishes she whipped up daily.Really appreciate my mum and I can see how much love and care she showers on hubby jairus and I.I thank God for mothers.

Anyway Baby Jairus had two days of party.The first party was held at panpac orchard claymore cafe and the second party was at my place.Though i was really busy these two days im glad that all the relatives and friends were here to share our joy.i even got to celebrate my first mothers day on the second day.I hope everyone had a great time during these two days.

                                                         

My Little SUmo --Baby Jairus 09/04/2010

BAby Jairus is finally here on 09/04/2010...he is 53 cm and weighs 4040kg.My goodness he is actually the biggest baby in the nursery.He is so chubby and he resembles just like a little sumo.One nurse asked me if Im had KFC very often during my pregnancy....each time the nurses see him or me they will comment how big jairus is...

 Thank god the C section was finally over the surgery itself was pretty fast however to me the adminstration of epidural was pretty scary.it hurts and i wonder y some ppl say it dont.Im thankful that i did not suffer any side effects from the epidural as i knw some ppl tend to shiver uncontrollably and also
tend to throw up.I was just feeling really stoned after the epidural as i guess i did not zzz the night before.

Praise God for his beautiful creation...Jairus is such a darling.

Bye bye Bump!

Time really flies it seems like it was only yesterday when i found out i was pregnant however 9 months have passed and I am thankful to Father GoD for seeing me through this smooth sailing pregnancy..i did not experience morning sickness or any pre nattal blues.However i must admit i kept falling ill during this period and insomia was a real headache.Going to work without much rest is really tiring..Anyway im going to miss having Jairus in my stomach.

JAirus has been a good boy so far..he doesnt move around or kick too much which i conclude he is as nua as his parents..In fact im quite comfortable with him staying inside my stomach.he has become a part of me.

Jairus has been too comfortable inside hence i will be going for a c section tomorrow morning at 11am.Although i would love to go through a natural birth, JAirus has a big head and he is a big size baby too hence munn n i decided to go for c section instead.Wanted to go under GA  initially as the thought of being slaughtered while conscious really send cold shivers down my spine.However as i do not want munn to miss our first borne first moments i opted for epidural instead.I trust that God will be in control tomorrow.

Guess i wont be zzz tonight!Bye bye Bump...and advance welsome to JAirus!

Dear Father God,
We pray and commit Jolene and the baby child to you for tomorrow's operation. We pray that you take control of the operation. We pray for the doctor that you guide his hand in the operation and that everything will be go on smooth and well. We pray for all the other people who assist in the operation that they will do a good and professional job. We pray for smooth delivery and that will be no complication. Pray both mother and child will be ok and be in good spirit. Give them good rest and after the birth.

We pray for your anointing upon the baby child as he starts his lives on earth. That he will grow up to be like King David, man after your heart, pleasing you and be a blessing to you. Grow up to be a righteous man in Christ Jesus. Also we pray that you bless him with your wisdom which is to fear you.
Thank you Father for listening to our prayers and we pray these in Jesus precious name. Amen
